Hi, I’m Emily

I’m a personal stylist and accredited colour analyst, helping people align how they look with who they are, and where they’re going.

My background spans fashion journalism, corporate environments, and formal training across leading London and Swiss institutions. I’ve worked as a fashion journalist reporting on international fashion weeks, and spent years inside large multinational organisations, where I saw first-hand how style, confidence, and perception play out in real professional settings.

Alongside my styling work, I continue to write about fashion, identity, and personal style through my Substack publications, Cut on the Bias and The Lavie Letter, exploring how what we wear shapes how we move through the world.

I’m now based in Switzerland, and my approach blends editorial insight with a grounded, practical understanding of everyday life. I don’t believe in rigid rules or trends for trend’s sake. I believe in clarity, intention, and building a wardrobe that genuinely supports you.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me reading, running, or spending time with my husband and our beloved cats. An appreciation for balance, rhythm, and quiet confidence carries through everything I do.
